'06 Driveline Vibrations?

Has DCX got the driveline vibration problems fixed on the '06 models?
Now that they've been out there for awhile and have a few miles on them...

edit; whoops, wrong forum, please move.

Don't be insulted since very few members are driving 06's. However, mine should arrive in a couple of weeks so if you remind me I'll let you know my impressions.

I have a 06 2500 quad cab and mine does have a vibration, especially when you are towing under acceleration. The shop says they all do it and to be thankful it doesn't vibrate even more. He said it has been a problem for quite a while. He thinks its the rubber bushing in the carrier bearing is two soft.

So, if this tech thinks he knows what the problem is, then fix the darn thing - preferably under warranty too. Maybe it's my twisted sense of logic.

If that's the problem, it's a design flaw. There's nothing better to replace it with at this time.

My 06 quad cab vibrates when I have the 5th wheel hooked up and under a load
It doesn't do it at any other time.

Me too. Just got done driving 300 miles and the vibration progressively got worse. It is a driveline vibration that I can feel in the seat and when going down hill it moves into the steering wheel. The truck was great for the first 5000 miles. It just suddenly started happening yesterday. I have driven 500 miles with it this weekend.

I'm calling the dealer tomorrow.

I'd like to here what others have done to SUCCESSFULLY fix the problem... that is, if anyone has been successful.

My 04.5 did it between 70-75 mph. 06 dosn't do it at all. Smooth sailing for now.
