I need to put a remote starter on my 6.7 Cummins. This would be due to the below freezing all the way down to -40 that we get here in the winter.

Does anyone already have one installed and if so, what make is it and how is it working for you? Also, does it have an idle timer feature for letting the egts cool off?

from what i read in the owners manual the 6.7 wont work with a remote start due to the sentry key security system... take it for what its worth. I have not done anymore research other then that part i read in the owners manual

I have a 2006 Dodge Megacab 2WD 5.9 Diesel with Airaid Intake, Banks Monster 5" exhaust, and Edge Juice with attitude. I had Autopage's RS-860LCD with remote start installed. The shop that installed it had to destroy one of the key sentry for this system to work. It does have an optional Temperature sensor that can be programmed to auto start whenever the temperature drops below the preprogrammed temperature level. I had mine installed by Kustom Kar Sound out of Mesa, Az. Leo Soave the store manager is very knowledgeable and up on the latest equipment and vehicles.
