08 dodge 3500. I deleted egr,dpf and cat. loaded in the smarty and after about 20 minutes of driving it threw p242f. I pulled the smarty and reloaded it and same thing again. Any ideas on how to get rid of the check engine light

 

Which software version are you running in the smarty? if its not the ME version just clearing the code wont help

 

v.6.19f. It took care of all of the other codes...

 

send a PM to a member named mega-engr, he will hook you up with the proper delete tune to load into it, the normal tunes don't work with deleted trucks, that should clear up your code issues, I don't have the smarty tunes on file or I would send it to you.

If thats the only code you are getting, I assume you have the ME software loaded or it would be a very excited dashboard without. Did you just pull the hoses off the DPF pressure switch or unplug it? I think you need to have the sensor plugged into the system. I just looped the hose from one side to the other of the sensor and never had a code issue.

I have version 28 of the ME software
