DPF delete, Code free BADP, and EGR delete ?'s

Ok, I was talking with a friend tonight. Him an I recently did a full 5 inch straight pipe on his 08. He ended up using BADP's code free computer for it. He was going to do the EGR delete but he heard that with the code free box the EGR delete doesn't work well and will put the truck into limp mode and needs to have the original BADP computer instead of the code free one. Currently the truck has a Juice w/ Attitude, so he can clear codes if or when they come up. Is there any truth to what he's been told? Or is it some one blowning smoke up his backside? Thanks

The code free BADP system is not working well in conjunction with the EGR delete and is causing guys problems. I haven't paid much attention to the exact details but in a nutshell, your friend heard right........

I get a few hours of sleep when I'm not here managing the 6.7l forums.....

I do spend a lot of time here these days but it's just so slow at work that I don't have anything else to do. I will be busy soon, hopefully, when the presidential administration changes over. I rent and sell moving equipment and the rentals will go crazy soon... Then you guys will miss me.....
