I think it is worth it. I have a deal with my dealer that I pay for what I broke and they will warranty the other stuff, like a/c work, seat motors window motors etc. Even though my extended will be out in another year or so. I do a good bit of traveling.

So ask youself two questions.

1. Do I care really care about my warranty if I would have a better running and better performing truck with increased fuel economy?

2. Can I get away with deleting? (legal wise)

If you dont care about voiding the warranty and can get away with it ask yourself a third question

3. Why in the heck have I waited so long?

At least thats what youll say after you delete em.

The Smarty with full deletes is always a good choice.

Rollin smoke does have great deals and service. I order a lot from James.

Just remember to check out the store here at DTR and support the site first.

I always shop with Lary and Jack first and then order with James if I cant get it here.

Go with the smarty 1st thing. then buy the total delete kit. Just do it.lol Its just not only the performance and the fuel economy, it is saving you engine from all that nasty junk that egr is putting into your vehicle...(leading to a longer engine life)also reliability. The best thing ive ever done.

If I was home Id take some pics of the egr system and you could see what looks like TAR about a 1/4 thick all through it. If you delete you will freak at what you see in the intake when your pulling that junk off.

yep I was absolutely disgusted by what ive seen when i took mine off. I think if everyone seen it, they would all go home and immediately take the egr off there truck. Just saying it is nasty.

I was shocked

My EGR tube looked like chimney. My NOX inlet looked like a chimney too, but the DPF outlet was nice a white/clean... Best thing I could do for my truck was disable this system and put on the shelf. I'll save the environment in other meaningful and less costly way. My truck only has 7K miles in almost 3 years...

I'm considering the same thing. Only had my rig for 6 months put on 7200 miles. Happy with it so far. MPG could be a little better. Still the upgrades are quite expensive to justify.

Yes, I am evidently. We should all be given credits to pollute a given amount and I would be selling my credits cheap and drive a gross polluter because I hardly drive it... Absense makes the heart grow fonder though . It does look and smell new still. You should see some of my other stuff as well. .

Yes it does, but I'm one of those guys that keeps their stuff new and just about forever so in the long term they certainly will justify in short and long term gains. New turbos and motorwork can be expensive especially after no warantee (eventually due to time in my case).

The great part about these upgrades as they can be justified economically as well as have add a huge fun factor.
