doug60,

You will not be able to hold SW9 with Flux 3's and a stage 2...

Try SW7 or even 5 and your truck will do MUCH better...

Hi Marco,

Default timing on sw9 showed the "popping" to remain as it had been. Using #3 timing on sw7 or sw9 the popping was gone. It works!

Im running the 5.3 on Timing 2.
I cant maintain RP on 9. IT started poping at 60 LBS.
I dont thing it was timing related. After I watched the rail gauge falling , but maybe it was.
RP on level 9 and RP setting on #3... I was seeing 22k at WOT and holding steady. I am running flux 2.4.

soulezoo,
ya, I hear you loud 'n clear. I'm scratching my head tho! WHY your truck like less timing than others is confusing.

Anyway, today with the Revo we have the solution handy in the Smarty. Once found what level(s) meets the trucks needs best; voilą.

Have fun!

So now I am concerned about adding some juice in the future... don't want to blow things up from too much timing!

soulezoo...

You need to change the title of your thread...these are not kinks of the TNT/Smarty...these were kinks of your rig!

Its called tuning! LOL.

You must have a female truck...since it seems so much more tempermental than my 04... LOL!

Hey Marco

Any chance that high lift pump pressure somehow advanced the timing (up set the TNT)?...It's the only thing I noticed different about soulezoo's truck?

Just checking, but did everyone else lose PRND with the TNT? Also has anyone noticed the trans not downshifting when you punch it?

You adjusted the "SHIFT" option in the Smarty menu.

Put it back to "STOCK" and the PRND21 and the overdrive/towhall light will come back on.

Don't forget to reflash it or the settings will be stay the same until you do.

THANK YOU MARCO!! It works!!! Injectors still rattle a little, but not too bad at all.

thats good news! what would be even better is if i could get the update as well..

marco, whats strange is my truck normaly likes more timing than normal, but as i reported to bob a month ago when i got the first relese , i get the poping... ive gone so far as to pull 4 degrees out via the tone ring ( normaly 4 deg adv on all other softwares)
id realy like to get hold of the latest revo version so i can try tuneing it more. ( and run it with the non 04.5- presure files)
