Will I make it

What are my chances of hitting 650ish hp. HE 351 over BHT3B with 40 mm gate, Smarty beta 4.3, Quad X2 pressure only, Flux 1.8s, and stock pump with modded FCA and pump gear. Ive been told that I should be close to my goal as my stock pump has no problem keeping 26k for rail pressure. I will be on a mustang with 35s, I may have to big of a goal, what do you guys think?

Joel

Hmmm... you might need more fuel. I'm at 636 with my mods.

I can't tell you too much about the mustang dynos... I think that they read different.

Yah, Im kinda thinking I might be, but I just read about a guy with twin pumps, twins and 50 hp stix go 698 or something. The only way that I have been able to pull my rail pressure off 26 is if i use a TST, but it doesnt seem to make that much more power

Cheat a little and build some boost before he hits the switch. Hold the brake down a little until you see your boost rise (kinda like power brakeing it), when he says go, let off and stand on the go.

I think that I would have done a lot better if I would have had the TNT.

I have TNT/R but ive read that 4.3 is stronger on 03-04. Your 636 was with the Revo SW?

Yes. I was a little smokey, probably could have used more air. I did not have time to play around with the settings, so I was wide open every time. (3 pulls)

I need to get some dyno time when I get back to fool around with it.

Mine cleans up really well. Just a slight haze once the primary lights. I just threw in some studs today, so I only ran revo on 7 or 4.3 on 5.

If you have an Auto, your sig does not tell, the minute you touch your brake pedal, your TC will unlock.

Besides, you do not want to cheat.... you are probably a good solid 600hp with what you have, not bad!

They can usually get a pretty good load on a truck without it, and my twins spool pretty quick with the little 351 on top. I may have to try it both ways and see what happens

If you have an S-04, I can send you the beta 4.2, it is the closest in hp to the TNT for the 03/04 trucks.

I dynoed the 4.2, it was only 13 hp higher than the 411(still under 600hp), but so hot and smokey, it was not a dd. TNT on 03/04 trucks is disastorous, the way it pops and bucks, something is going to break.

I have all the programs, mine seems to run the best with 4.3. The TNT/R tune is pretty close, and doesnt have the poping that the TNT does. I havent had a chance to do any testing with the higher settings, yet. I finally got around to installing studs today.

Thanks for the offer

Mustang dyno's can be a little stingy on the #'s.There are so many variables that the dyno operator has so they will have to be very familiar with diesels and how to get a proper load on the motor to return a good #. Most people seem to think that Mustang #'s will be 5-15% lower than what a Dynojet will net.
