Good discussion and thanks. Looks like lift and tires is a waste in many opinions and money shoud be spend on one night out with the wife and the rest into go fast parts. 1st being the trans and next a tuner. What do you think I need for a trans? Just VB and TC? How much will that cost. I also think I will just get the big dents taken out. Like I said it really doesn't look that bad right now. What tuner should I get? I was hoping to get into the 400's for HP at the wheel.

tc is all you need unless you are thowing down so big numbers thats all i run an ats 5 star set me back 1500 or so installed but will be going to a valve body soon enough and i love the PMT bully dog since it has the gauges built into it which means i dont have to spend the money on them granted the pmt costs around a grand but you get on the fly changes the gauges and it can be used on any brand of truck so if you decide to buy a ferd or chevy you can take it over with you to the dark side

From what I have read and learned, if you want 400 or so, you should be fine with a TC and VB. The TC is the weakest link, but a VB will really compliment a TC. I hear a lot of really good things about Dave Goerend, which is who I think I will go with. But, everyone with a DTT is just as satisifed from what I have read. Basically, anyhting other than the stock TC is a mjor improvement. Do a search and get some opinons and then make your own.

These are just a few. GOod luck, I cant wait to do my tranny! I need a better paying job.
