What to do? Need to spend money!

Just got my insurance check for some hail damage on my truck and it totaled $3200. What should I do with this money. I currently have a bone stock truck with 90k miles. I am planning on keeping it till it dies since I can't trust the new ones. Shocks are also starting to go. Should I:

A: Get the hail damage fixed, it really doesn't look that bad. It is a truck.
B: Get a basic lift from Carli, Lorenz or Thuren and get some new tires and rims
C: Start tuning with a Edge box w/attitude and some gauges of course.
D: Put the money into the house (landscaping)

MORE POWER! I dont know how much you are willing to spend, but the first step in my opinion is guages, then transmission. I learned the hard way! Id beef up your tranny, a new TC will make it feel like you added more horsepower, because now you can actually put the stock power to good use! Then I would do gauges, then you only need to spend a little more and you will have plenty of power. Just my $.02, I am saving for my tranny right now.

Would you put money into a trans before it goes out? That was probably a dumb question but just asking.

Lift, tires, front and rear bumper replacements. Call a dent remover and a I bet he can pop out the bigger ones for less then $200. If you seriously plan on running your truck into the ground, I would avoid the crazy performance mods. Look at the guys who have blown up or damaged parts on their trucks, very, very few of them were stock. They all had a chip and some other mods. Just be careful. I pull/tow/haul more then most of the modders on this site and I have never had an issue with needing more power. I'm bone stock and staying that way. The cosmetic stuff is what attracts the ladies and the jealous drooling, nobody can see a chip plugged in under the hood.

I do want to add that if I was extremely rich, I would do some crazy modding. But I'm not and I cant fix a truck and even if I could, it wouldnt be cheap.

Normally I would jump on the "more power" wagon, but dude, don't drive around in a truck full of hail dents with a bunch of mods. That's like these idiots in there $1500 rusty clunker with a $4000 stereo system bumpin' down the road.

If you plan on making some good power, tranny upgrades are a must. Anything more than 100-150 hp over stock needs a TC and VB, even slight mods could use it, but arent necessary. Most people I have got opinions from say a new TC is just like putting abox on your truck, because the stock TC loses so much power. BUt I agree with OmahaRam, if the dents are bad, fix those, but you said they werent that bad. If you do slight mods, I think you will still retain some of the reliablility. Just my thoughts, and I am by no means an expert, I just spend ungodly amounts of time on here reading through stuff, and trying to learn.

I was in a similar situation before, I fixed the dents or less than $1k and then went with apperance mods. This was on my 01 gas so if I had the diesel it would have been fix the dents then mod it. I do know that once you claim hail dammage you can not claim it again unless you being it in to show them that you fixed it, otherwise you could claim the same dents over and over agin every time it hailed. .02

Get a front end replacement then put the rest of it under the hood all the pretty trucks will be whining when they get smoked by a sleeper.

I'd use that money to fix the damage and "freshen up" the rest of the exterior if needed. If there's any left over buy a used Bully Dog Triple Dog or Smarty.

I'd have to agree with omaharam and ptgarcia on this one but a FASS lift pump might be a good idea too.
