Hey guys, I havent been on here much in awhile since bieng here in Sicily. I'll be home the first week of Dec with a good bit of cash to put into the old Dodge.

First let me say that I'm not going nuts with this old thing. I am simply starting with new doors since the ones I have are rusted pretty good. If I can find used it will be cheap, otherwise its $500 for both new. Next is get a 4" exhaust.(who is cheapest?). Then get the front end aligned and hope the wabble goes away. I'm going to try to find a fair priced intercooler, but I'm not spending alot on that. Maybe a HTT Stage III since its only $200. A new tail gate is only $200, so one of those. I'm going to paint it myself so that won't be much. The interior is mint so thats fine.

Is there anything else I am forgetting that would help out?

3200 gov spring. $15- best bomb for the buck.

 

Get water injection rather than an intercooler.

Intercoolers are bg, heavy, leaky monsters that just aren't as cool as water injection.

Don't forget the tranny mods.

I already have the 3200 spring. Only tranny mod I have is a HUGE tranny cooler. This bieng my first diesel truck I'm not trying to go nuts with it. I do plan to later get a 96 or newer cummins, that one I will hook up and go nuts. This old first gen is staying fairly stock, just a few mods for life and economy.
