truck started falling on it's face

In the last couple of days my truck has started falling on it's face (maybe like it's defueling) when I want to scoot around someone. It doesn't do it unless I kind of romp on it. Could I have gotten some bad diesel and have a clogged filter that has slowed down the fuel flow? Or is this a sign that something else may be amiss? Thanks

What tranny do you have? When your tc slips, it feels like your not going to go anywhere when you give it too much power.

48 re. stock. I've kept my quad on it's lowest setting and haven't done any boosted launches or drag racing.

I guess you could try changing the fuel filter and using some additive and see if it helps.

That's what I'm going to do on Monday when my parts store opens where I get my filters. I had ran a can of cleaner through it one tank ago and have just made a trip up to fort smith where I was able to run the truck at 75 mph for an extended time. It threw a code about 10 minutes from home while going down the highway but the code seemed to clear itself. Also I forgot to mention that the truck has never done any towing except for my bassboat.

It cleared itself before I could check. I just felt the truck kind of hiccup and the check engine light lit up. It was near the end of a 250 mile trip and I had been able to run the truck in the 65 to 75 mph range. It hadn't been run that far and long and at that speed in a long time. I got fuel only once during the whole trip and it's possible the fuel could have been dirty but it came from a truckstop.

Mine fell on it's face once when I romped on it as well, changed the fuel filter and all was well again that would be the first place I would look.

I agree change the fuel filter. My truck just dropped on me and won't go over 1,000 rpms some people are saying it could be my injector pump I hope not. hopeing for a filter or pump in tank.
