Truck runs like cra* and throws codes
Truck has lost alot of power and surges going down the highway. I truned off my X2 module from the Commander and uninstalled the Smarty and truck still ran bad. I physically removed the X2 and things definately improved. I reloaded the Smarty and my truck seemed alot more powerful than before when the X2 was installed, but as soon as I start the truck I get a P0234 and sometimes a P0243 code. How can I get an overboost code starting my truck I shouldn't have any boost and definately not enough to overboost. I am also seeing alot more smoke when starting truck and if I get on it and on the highway it doesn't seem to clear up like it used to. With the X2 hooked up I was showing sometimes really good rail pressure 24,500psi and sometimes it would show nothing or 3-4000psi which I know the truck could even run with much less go down the highway at 70mph. Now with the X2 removed my rail pressure is stable but seems low 16-17,000 going down the highway at 70mph and 21-22,000 when I get on it. Smarty is set to level 9 with level 3 for rail pressure. So how come I could see 24,500 with the X2 but truck ran like cra* and with it gone and rail pressure much lower truck is significantly more powerful? Thanks for any help, Tom J.

Maybe your Rail Pressure Relief valve is playing games with you at oddly the same time your modules are being swapped around. Wouldn't be the first time these type of things happen. Im sure Im wrong, but wouldn't hurt to look.

You may have the wire rubbing problem that I have heard about. Some have had problems with a wire rubbing against your A/C line in the lower passenger side of your engine compartment. Once the wire rubs through its shielding it will touch the bare metal on your A/C line and cause your truck to throw codes and act possesed. It would be worth looking into!

Sounds like a wastegate solenoid, should be covered under warranty. Don't forget to remove all your performance stuff first or you will be red flag and warranty voided.
