Enabled the fast idle on my 06 and it does not respond,i turned cruise on and push the set and no fast idle, am i missing something ? Any info ?

You have an automatic tranny ,right?

Assuming you have an auto tranny, make sure you keep your feet off the brake.

I enabled mine with my Triple Dog a couple weeks ago and it works fine.

Truck must not be running but the key needs to be in the run position. This is different on 06's.

I have never had these issues with my 05....i dunno what makes the difference.

I also found out that it works in N with the parking brake on.

I am having the same problem with mine. Can someone give me the exact steps on how to operate the high idle feature. This is assuming it was correctly enabled with a BullyDog TD. Thanks, Tom J.

Are you turning the cruise on?and then hitting the buttons on the right hand of the steering wheel for the desired rpm.

Turn cruise control on.
Hit "set" and the idle should jump up to 1000 rpm.
Adjust idle speed using accelerate/coast button on right side.

Do not touch the brake or gas during this procedure.

Just tried it on mine this afternoon. Works perfectly.
Nice feature too, seems like DC would have that activated at the factory or at least a blurb in the manual that it is even there for those who might want to take advantage of it. I don't remember seeing it in there at least.
