Bully Dog Triple Dog

I just got my Triple Dog in from XtremeDiesel.com and the order couldn't have gone any better. They had the best price, free shipping and it was here it 4 business days. The extreme setting feels GOOD, but I do have a couple of questions for you experienced Triple Dog guys.

1. My downloader came with version 2.2.7, is this the most current version?
2. If I upgrade to the Crazy Larry will I lose my extreme setting?
3. When you upgrade are you upgrading all of the settings or are you just adding Crazy Larry. I think somebody said after an upgrade the low end felt better on the other settings as well.
4. I do not have the Fog Lamp or the Seat belt minder options as advertised, will they come with a later version download?
5. The extreme setting feels strong but doesn't feel like it going to break anything?
6. Does the Crazy Larry have a lot more bottom end or is it just a lot more top end?

Thanks for the help!!!!

I'll start by saying I love my TripleDog. I think the 2.2.7 is the latest, mine is 2.2.2 I think. I was told if you load CL you do lose the extreme setting. That's all the help I can give, what little it is. I am going to get the later version in the next few days when I have time. But no CL. I like my clutch too much for that.

Booger,

do you have the fog lamp/high beam option, or the Seat belt minder option. Yeah, I think you do loose your extreme setting when you upgrade to CL, thats the setting I'm currently running and would like to keep it but would also like to try the CL as well. What to do, what to do????

when you use triple dog do u lose your stock ecm settings forever? for example if i would like to trade my truck in for a newer one, years from now, could i revert it back to stock and not leave a foot print? (this may also work for trips to the local dodge dealer for repairs under warranty)

Yes they can tell if they are suspicious. Your computer stores Peak Boost level. But you can go back to the stock mode for. You'll have to put your truck back to stock everytime you update bullydog anyways.

Your best bet is if you get a programmer/chip then take it completely off if you need service & become friends with the diesel mechanic or the service writer at the dealer. It's not what you know but who you know when it comes to getting things fixed under warranty!!!!

If its a programmer or a chip, they can tell peak boost through the computer. So if they want to they can tell no matter what kind of power adder you have. If the boost go higher than what it would stock, they know thats know accident.

That is not true. They can tell if the ECM sees more boost than its supposed to, but there are many products that prevent the ECM from knowing what is really happening.

like a blow off valve? would that prevent the ecm from noticing the bigger boost?
