I have really been thinking of a Floor-it pump and some small sticks, like 50-75 hp but I dont want to pass that threshold of reliability. A cam would not be that big of a deal for me to do and if they help as much as guys say they do, I would like to do it if it did not jeopardize the reliability of the engine.

Don M I'm in the market for a daully with 5.9c cr. Had an 04 with 305hp motor and sold it. Should i try an get the same year (04') in a dually as i plain to mod it a bit to improve towing. cannot find many 04's but plently of 06's with good pricing. please advise.

Well on the issue of reliability I think Don will tell you that is not any concern at all. I remember after several of people installed their cams they said that it would be the first thing they would do on any cr motor. I cant remember who it was but they seemed like a reliable source. Go for it man I know it helps your dyno curve quite a bit.
