Do they make a K&N or other cleanable air filter for a stock 2005 CTD?

Boy do they ever. I'm sure that many of the fine sponsors of this site will chime in shortly and offer more options than you know what to do with. The CTD has TONS of aftermarket parts out there.

my K&N FIPK made my turbo dirty, not sure if the BHAF's are doing that.

tried to clean it, no avail.

Look at my other posts in this section under the "Scotty Air Ram/Oil Analysis Report. You may be surprised!!!!! When I pulled my FIPK off to clean the filter, I made sure to check the intake tube and the turbo for both oil and dirt/dust. Nothing to be found dude!!!!! I don't know, maybe I got a good one or maybe I just clean and oil them properly. No offense meant there either!!!

yeah, i may not be oiling it enough/too little.

it was just black on some edges, like a fan used in a dirty environment would be.

not really nasty, just enough to be visible and annoying. tube & all was clear.

you get any MPG from your FIPK? i don't really think i did.
my daughters 05 showed a loss with it.....don't understand that. only 2k miles on it or so
