Smarty And Nv5600 Question
I wouldn't go much above level 4 or 5 with a stock clutch and even then it depends on how nice you are to it. If your heavy footed and slip the clutch and do lots of high rpm launches then I'd say level 2 or 3 but if your nice and easy on it then it should hold 4 or 5. Should being the key word.
yep, level 5 is max SAFE on a stock clutch, if you have a clutch in really good shape, you might handle 7 for awhile, but trust me.....one hard run on 7 and your clutch will let you know it is upset!!
5 on the stocker, as for perform in each gear? you are going to be hitting the redline so fast now that it is almost a waste to punch it in 2nd or 3rd. at least that's my problem. not that it is a real problem.

i ran #9 for a while, i knew i had to be carefull between 1500-2k after that it would hold, but even in 5th, if you floored it in that range, it'd slip..
now, even on 5 she slips.. oh well... sbc will be in soon..
and to give you an idea how it runs... when it did hold....well it would run thru 6th gear faster on #5 than it runs thu 4th gear stock.

ive done the wild tq, but thought off idle resonse was to twitchy with as much trafic as i drive in.... some thing about that area below 2k rpm being like a light switch.. lol.. if i didnt drive every day in some of the worst trafic in the country id love it.. it was a blast driving it like that when there wasnt any trafic.
