Yes that is why I liked 4.4 also.My built tranny has the best shifting feel with it also.I regressed to revo just to check on a sw3 setting someone said they got 688 miles out of a tank. I drive about 600 miles in a week to week and a half so I can check these things out fairly quick. So far I do not think so almost at half tank and might get 300 miles out of first half and we all know the first half gets the most mileage.I do highway about 100 and driving on my 2 job sites stop and go checking on things so it is a good mixture. So it will be back to 4.4 when I am done with this test. So another post someone got great mileage out of revo or tnt sw7 tm2 rp2 gw off but could not figure out which one. they said revo standard but there was a refrence to the defuel on or off setting and I know the standard revo does not have that.

Since when did the Silver 62 become a competition turbo only.... I realy don't see how you guys are seeing such low EGTs with stock turbo..... I could EASILY hit 1500 way back when I had my BDTD on performance..... smarty is much stronger with the TNT... it woul seem that when your spinning your stocker out of it's efficiency range, your drive pressures would be insane..
I also don't get why your truck would be so smokey with the Silv 62 specially with a stick.. I leave mine now on Tq 1, but even on tq 4/press 2/lvl 9 towing, mine would barely smoke unless I just floored it... then of course it would block out the sun...

it's not your smarty limiting you going back to 4.4.. it's the chrysler software that your TNT loaded onto your trck

Actually, towing a 2k lb trailer just this weekend now with the stock turbo, EGTs were lower than with the silver 62! At 70 mph I'm only seeing about 690 vs. about 800 before. BDTD caused you to see 1500 because you didn't have boost fooling and when your truck saw 32 psi, your ECU pulled out fuel to prevent making boost over 32. If you put a boost fooler on your truck with the BDTD your EGTs would have dropped a good 300 degrees....trust me...I've been there. Therefore, the high EGTs had nothing to do with your turbo, but instead, your factory boost limiter.

The stick is way worse than an auto when it comes to smoke. Think about it. What happens to boost when you shift a stick? It's GONE....all the sudden, you have to respool that turbo, which is when it billows out smoke. The truck barely smokes now because the stock turbo lites so quickly. Before I had to be super gentle on the pedal below 2,000 RPM, particularly right after a shift to prevent clouds.
