injector's leaking too much, low rail pressure?

03 3500 ctd SUPER hard starting once it start's run's like a champ though. tow it to BD diesel and then they say she need's injector's cuz there's leaking to much fuel to the return lines. here's everything on the invoice.
"found that fuel pressure will only build to 1500 psi while cranking. boost pressure reads 34.3 at all times. edge chip removed. boost pressure back to normal (truck didn't run/start any better when I did that either) used starting fluid to get truck started. fuel pressure at idle is 5300 psi with regulator cycling at 34% ran truck on dyno and found fuel pressure not keeping up to demand. 17000 psi actual pressure when truck is asking for 23000 psi. removed pressure relief fitting and found no fuel coming out while cranking-normal lift pump pressure at idle 9 psi-good. truck requires injector's.

everything sound right here??? truck just won't trip off the injector's if there isn't enough fuel pressure while cranking. and help and suggestion's would be great. hopefully for the time being we can trick the computer into thinking there is enough fuel pressure just to start the truck. then finance some injector's haha in a while 500 bucks a pop for injector's is quite a bit no??

also if the injector's need to be changed do the nozzle's have to be changed also? also my brother would like to put 75 horse nozzle's how much better would those be over stock??? and the edge ez that were prolly sending back because of the 34.3 psi reading's would most likely not be good enough to take advantage of the new injector's????

the ez is probably the cause of the injector failure to begin with running constant pressure is really hard on injectors. you should look into a smarty or some of that nature. you do not want to run pressure all the time and an ez is all pressure.

I have the same issue right now and I'm in denial that its the injectors. I need to get a scan tool to watch commanded and actual rail pressure to confirm but I am almost positive thats the problem. My choices are narrowed down to Fluxes or these injectors from House of Power. The House injectors seem like a good deal but not many seem to be running them so I could get good feedback. I would love to know if anyone has experience with them.

But by what I have read it seems that the best are fluxes. There are a lot of cheerleaders for them and it seems that most of the people that install the same size that I want report a mileage increase. That said my truck is my one and only vehicle and I really can't have it go down for the week or two that it takes for the injectors to be gone through.
