how much rail presure is too much??????

since adding the stage 3 pump and cam i got a dr p box and uploaded pl tune on my triple dog. at idle i see 8800-9200 rail pressure. it idles real rough and choppy and i dont know if its due to the high rail pressure or what. just cruising it sets mid 26's. at full throttle it will drop to about 24000 for less than a second then ramp up to and hold between 26800-27200. is this too much rail pressure? thnks ahead of time

26k at cruise will kill injectors pretty soon. That is too much pressure.

Ive been told, use pressure only at the track.
Any extra pressure for every day driveing is Not Good .

when jus driving turn off all the extra pressure and use it only when needed, such as track or race. that pressure will soon kill injectors if used everyday.

cuising at 26,000psi is WAY too high. i keep my rp at cruising below 20,000psi. specifically around 16-18,000

I won't say its bad to run with pressure, you just need to tune your pressure to certain psi while drivin mainly, keep your pressure down to 15-19k while cruising. Your wot looks good, and idle looks good, but if you're cruising 26s that's bad, thats about what you want max period, even at wot.

I was going to say when you hear your nozzles popping off, back out of the throttle...

When yall say that preassure will kill injectors, are you mainly talking about stock inj or will it kill aftermarket inj just as fast? Or are the aftermarket inj. made to handle higher pres.?

thanks for all the reply's guys. I'm running the II stage 3 with a dual feed line. The dr performance box i'm running is model 2025 they said it was for off-road use only, i really don't know? I have a toggle switch for it but i can only turn it on or off i cannot turn it down. With pedifile larry if i dont hae it on the truck will throw codes. With just the pressure box it runs around 23-25000 but when i adjust on the fly to p/l the pressure is high like i stated all the time. i can say this on the way home from work today on the highway i rolled into the throttle on the entrance ramp then hammered it and all i can say is it got it on! the pull is amazing on the top end, i can't wait to get this thing to the track. I am sure my stock injectors are gonna be junk soon so a set of don's stix are in order. With the set-up in my sig what do you guys think my pump and turbo can handle? i got it narrowed down to something in a 2.5-3.5 i just don't know where in that range would be right for me without causing too much heat or making the pump run down. thanks again everyone and sorry for the long post
