i have the S&B but i am thinking of switching to a AFE stage 2 just because i heard it is louder... i know this sounds like a stupid reason to spend close to 400 bucks, but you cant take it with you but how much louder is the AFE then the S&B? thanks in advance..

Take the top off the S&B if you want more sound out of it.

i just took the top off mine, made a very small difference, but its way better then spendin 400 bucks.

Just go for the AFE. You know you want it!

I first bought an AFE Stage I, and later upgraded to a Stage II. I liked the Stage II with the PG7 much better. Sounded friggen wicked with my SPS66...

Yes, just take your Silencer ring out if you haven't already. I have the Afe Stage II and the Pro Guard 7 is awesome, but there's no way that I'd pay 400 plus dollars for a system that is almost the same... Your money, but I'd put it to better use...

yea i bought my s&b for $200, and spent $300 on my gauges... so for alittle more than the AFE i had an intake and gauges. i think the s&b does just fine.
