picked it up this morning, installed it this afternoon.....didn't remove silencer ring, and it is still loud...in a good way. makes the engine sound a bit more rugged at idle, and spools much quicker....so far the coolest mod to date.....

btw, there was nothing in the instructions about keeping the filter minder.....i guess it's ok to trash it? i thought i read somewhere that it was important to have???? so i'll hold on to it until i hear otherwise......

You could drill a hole in the intake tube for it. I thought about it. Don't know if I will though.

 

Throw it in a drawer somewhere and for get it. It will do more good there. It is useless on the AFE Stage 2. Easy enough to eyeball the filter to tell when it needs cleaning.
