Will Afe Stg.2 Work W/ Twins ?

i was thinking of getting an afe intake but am planning on going w/ a twin turbo setup in the near future such as nathans or ats utilizing the stock turbo. will the afe stg.2 cold air intake work w/ twins or will i need to fab up a custom intake or just use a filter on the turbo?

If you build your twins, you can make it work. Most companies twins will come with there own set up for a filter though. Another thing you have to consider is flowing enough air thru that filter to keep both chargers happy. Smaller filters can be used, but as soon as they get a little dirty, you can actually start to pull oil past the turbo seals if you are not careful.

Save your money and put it towards the twins. I don't think the AFE Stage II filter would fit on many of the twin kits out there. I know mine didn't and it's sitting in the garage collecting dust as we speak. The plastic tube definitely won't fit either.

thanks guys, thats just what i was looking for.

does a twin setup usually just use the filter mounted directly onto one of the turbos or would i make custom piping to locate the filter somewhere else (possibly cold air) ?

the bottom turbo is the filtered one. It is usually a turbo with a 5" inlet.
