Rough Idle with Smarty REVO 7 but not 5?

Well guys the tag says it all-even with V 4.11 I'd have intermittent rough idling with Smarty level 7, but smooth as silk all the time with Smarty level 5.

Rail pressure with the REVO version is set to default, too. Impending injector problems? Any other thoughts?

Don't know. Does it happen after a long drive, or cold morning startups?

Only when it's hot-like after a highway drive. Kind of confusing to me-it's definitely software-related though. I would expect a mechanical problem to be around all the time.

I have noticed that on mine as well....very small rough idle.....can feel it more in the wheel. This is after a good 30- 40 min on the highway and sitting at a stop light. The only difference is I have my Smarty on 5. It does come and go. It's in the upper 90°'s....and all temps are good...all pressures are good. I think it's in the AC comp.

It's weird you say that-at first I thought it was the AC compressor too, but yesterday it was starting to run like it was losing an injector, and the AC wasn't on. I had initially figured that I'd better start making larger deposits into the injector replacement fund, but when I backed off to 5, it runs smooth.

I can't figure it out-software glitch? Impending injector demise? Who knows?

I hear ya on the injector fund....I have one of those going myself! Here is the real kicker....I put mine back on 7 (TNT) and no issues this afternoon! Trucks seem to have a mind of their own!
