Following TST directions
Following TST directions
Bought a TST from another member here last week. The timing harness only has 1 orange wire as opposed to two which is what's in the directions telling you to hook it up to fuses 36 and 50. I initially hooked it up to fuse 50 which did nothing. Then switched it to fuse 36 which is what the person I bought it from used. The box worked great, but the lack of a second orange wire had me puzzled. I then found in the FAQ on the TST website, it addressed timing harnesses with only 1 orange wire and said to hook this one up to fuse 28. Tried that, and the module didn't come on and the truck wouldn't start. I switched it back to fuse 36 and the truck still won't start.
So much for following the directions. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.
Anybody have any insight into what I may have goofed up?

I was wondering the same thing i got a tst in a trade. I havent ever had the need to install it but i looked TSTs install page any way and i only have one orange wire too. I emailed tst about it with all the sr# but sill havent heard anything back from them
If you want the 2004 and 2004.5 TST manuals I can email them. They are a little over the PDF size allowed for posting them. I bought the TST as soon as it was released for the HO model in 2004.5. The package came with the 2004 instructions which were incorrect regarding the wastegate. TST sent me another manual that had an additional page explaining how to hook the wastgate up for higher boost.
