You wouldn't need a draw straw if you got the 100, you coulda hooked it up to your factory feed, but I think the recommend a draw straw with the 150.

Why not leave the factory fuel filter on there. Run the line from the pump to stock filter, 7 to 10 micron, water catcher. then put a 2 micron inbetween the stock housing and the CP3. Can get a fuel base pretty cheap @ any truck dealer, fab up bracket & away you go. Thats what I did, but have these parts since Im @ a truck shop.

For an '03-04?
I dont think the kits come like that for the '04.5+ trucks right? Since youd be trying to suck thru the stock tank mounted LP in those.

The factory fuel filter is both, fuel filter & water separtor. There is a drain on the bottom. Depends which fuel filter you put in there, most are 7 to 10 microns. There is a 5 micron fuel filter out there also. So fuel tank to raptor, then off to the backside of the factory fuel filter housing, out of the bottom of it to the new installed 2micron fuel filter, which then will supply the CP3. I have a the 100 kit, @ idle I have 15 to 17psi, wot with Smarty, draws to down to 13psi. Its adjustable, but those pressure are good for me.
