Dumb question about Airdog Raptor 150 install

I'll be installing the unit this weekend and have a question about the stock fuel supply line that is left over(the one from the tank to the now removed OEM lift pump). Since you have to drill a whole for a new suction tube, what do you do with the old one coming off the fuel tank module? Do you just cut it short and plug it off? Or am I missing something?

I dont think its a dumb question. im sure when someone gets on here they will answer your question. I dont have that fuel system but I have been looking at it pretty hard if I end up keeping my truck

You can do that or you can talk to your local dealer and get the pick up assembly from an earlier model truck. That is what I had to do because my LP was going out and the dealer changed mine to the in tank style without asking. I now have the old parts and am getting an aftermarket LP.

Something I forgot to ask. Where would be the best place on the tank to drill for the tube?

you can do it a few different ways.... you can take the OEM supply line off completely and cap the nipple on the tank fuel canister.(with a rubber cap)
or you can leave it all attached and disconnect the outlet line on the filter housing and cap it there.(witch means you take the supply line from the cp3 to the filter off and put it in your garage or something)

my megacab only has one small flat spot that works for the drawstraw...and it is right in front of the stock fuel pick-up....most guys find a flat spot on the back side of the stock pick-up and put it in there....
clear as mud?
