Questions about my dual cp3 vs hot Vp44, p-pumps

i need to check in more often

I need some comparisons if possible. For some reason the local pulling club decided to make dual cp3 illegal in the Hot Street class for truck pulls for 09. My argument is that a modded 44 or p-pump can bring just as much or more fuel. Am i wrong?

I know there are different stages on those same pumps. But isnt a highly modded single 44 or 'p' the same or equivalent to a gen 3 dual set up.

Any help appreciated. i got to make some arguments soon agaisnt this rule.

I kinda feel like I was blackballed just b/c a 3rd gen was whoopin butt last year with the duals.

Can a modded VP actually deliver that much fuel? Obviously a P-Pump can, but I didn't know a VP could be made to do it.

No VP-44 pump out right now can or will touch a dual CP3 pump for fuel delivery, period. The Hot Rod vp, isnt anything better than the SO pump, sure it will make more power without electronics, but once you put injectors and a chip/programmer they are equal.

For the ppump/ CP3 arguement, IMO if they allow 13mm pumps they should allow dual cp3's, again IMO the P-Pump is king for fuel, especially when you bring in a P-pump like the sigma. And as of now two cp3's cant keep up with a good 13mm ppump (but I also think once they get the electronics out needed) dual modded CP3's will be up there with a ppump.

thanks for the replies guys. I wasnt sure about the 44 thats why I asked. But does anyone know of any types of charts or graphs that might show the rate of delivery comparing the three?

Plus (this mite be getting off my original request) what is the delivery rate of the stage 4 cp3?

We are calculating around 340 to 350 LPH.

I dont know about vp's, but ppumps are rated in CC's so if you know the conversions you can figure it out. Some of the big boys are pushing 1000cc+.
