Pressure box question
Trending Topics
Pretty much any pressure box will improve MPG in one way or another. With the added pressure fuel atomizes better and thus you burn it more efficiently.
Also with running anything that adds pressure comes responsability, these boxes can sometimes raise RP to a unsafe limit for everyday driving.
Do some homework to decide which one more suits your needs and comfort range. Some add more pressure sooner and harder while others add it more progressive and easier on injectors.
For me I would suggest either a TS MP-8, or a Quad. I like the adjustability of the MP-8 but Quad is just as good IMO.

So how hard is a TS on injectors? Is there any effect on injector life if the box isn't turned up all the way.
What level is recommended for daily driving, fuel mileage?
I am thinking of stacking something with the Smarty Senior after I do a torque converter.
Also, I helped my install one on his 6.7. Do you have stick that washer in the rail? It was kind of a PIA on the 6.7!

I ran an EZ for a year and didn't see a gain in fuel economy, actually lost a little.
Keeping the box below 50% or 50hp shouldn't be an issue for the injectors.
No adjusting the rail pressure relief valve for the 5.9L.
Just a note, the SMARTY REVO programs can adjust rail pressure too.

So far i havent seen the MP-8 increase to unsafe levels, even on 100%. I leave mine on about 50% and the Smarty on 4.4 sw5, feels like sw 7 of the 4.2 while not too touchy down low like the 4.2.
