Power Programmer

I need to find a programmer for power/fuel mileage and to adjust the speedometer. It's showing 50 MPH when the GPS reads 55.3 MPH.

Any ideas on what is best for Power and adjusting the speedometer?

Smarty all the way. Adjust tire size, read and delete trouble codes, and all the power you'll need.......for now.

Did not see what year you have. Have a 06 auto edge /att ,does it all ,more than enough power to slip your stock tranny,if you want to get crazy, you better have deep pockets!!

If you can skip the need for changing tire size the Diablo sport is awesome. Reads/clears codes and plenty of power and you can get custom tunes for it. It also does some pretty cool real time data reading.

Since it's an 04 truck. The dealer can re-program your speedo. Years '03-'05 can be adjusted to bigger tires.
For power and mileage there are a lot of people happy w/ the Quad products for what your looking for.

I was told they can change it to the 285's cuz that is what the "lone star' editions come with, as in they know what diameter the 285's are.

I imagine the dealer's machne goes by tire diameter like my BDTD and probably the Smarty so maybe they can do bigger tires if they know what the diam is?

I meant 33" and bigger. I know you can go up to 285's at the dealer w/ 06 & 07.

First you said only up to 05's can be adjusted.

Then you asked if the dealer will only go up to 285's on 06 and 07's, I said I think that's cuz they know the diameter for that size since you can buy them that big from the factory.

I also said the dealer can probaly go bigger than that if they know the diameter of the new tire, it's the same computer we're all 'altering' after all.
