A resonator will help kill off the drone a lot.

You can actually install two resonators inline if you want maximum drone reduction.

It will be mild until you floor it, then you'll smooth growl with no drone.

I'd look here:
http://store.airflo.com/mufflers---resonators.html

I single 5" should do it, but dual 5" models (one feeding another) will definitely kill the drone.

Donaldson Muffler. I think I will eventually give in and get one too. So much driving at 75mph...its getting to be nervewracking when you're trying to concentrate....you can get one from the above link Hohn posted...

I think I will go with the 40. I doin't want to lose too much noise, just eliminate that noise (not really a drone on my truck, just sounds like its screaming!!! 0

ive had 2 different mufflers on my truck and they helped alot with taking away the drone in the cab. I dont think it will take it all away but it should help you out alot. I went back to a straight pipe also and man theres alot of drone with an automatic truck

I went from a 5" straight through and just recently added a 51" donaldson but I am regreting it. This thing is too quiet now and even when your on the throttle hard you cant hear it over a low radio sound. At an idle outside the truck it has a deep big rig tone but I am thinking of trying a smaller muffler or just a short resonator. However the drone is gone completely. My 4" factory without the muffler was louder than this expandit 5" and donaldson 51". Hope my experience helps you guys out.
