AK, I think I've said this before, but nice truck I really like the BHAF setup too. Anyway, my question to you is where did you get the oil analysis done. I'm curious to see what is going on inside my CTD.
Thanks !
btw....the good season is almost here...time to get the snowmachines ready

Thanks! I think its purdy to.

I get them done here: http://www.blackstone-labs.com/

About half way down the page is a link for a free sample kit. Costs $1.50 priority mail to send the sample back and the analysis is $20.00. Report takes a few days after they receive the sample.

Anyone who sells AFE filters will probably have the pre-filter. I think Rip Rook has the best prices. They are not listed individually on his site, but he has them. Call his toll free number. http://www.protintnw.com/sa-main.htm

Sure. You can use any of the aftermarket intake systems on a stock truck. Benefits will be minimal, but it won't hurt anything.

Valvoline Premium Blue dino, not the Extreme synthetic. Yeah, that was a 5,400 mile change interval. I try to change every 3,000 miles, but a 3,000+ mile trip put me a little over until I could get back and change.

after talking to cummins I would not be surprised if the mopar oil is a flavor of Valvoline.. after all it is one of the oils cummins uses.. and if the mopar oil filters or indeed flleet filters then I would bet cummins pushes the valvoline to DC..

does anyone know and am I crazY for thinking this....

Every time I asked STAR what oil D.C.used for their blends it was always said VALVOLINE in the entire lineup.
