Performax gauges, the good the bad and the ugly

I would like some feedback on these gauges, im about to order some.

like to hear some intel before i shell out $700+!!!!

ive heard mixed reviews about electric fuel guages and bad sending units.

Im looking at the fuel pressure(30 psi), Rail pressure and Boost(60 psi)

thanks guys!!

I have the Performax guages installed and I love them. No problems with them, and I have 8 of them. The only regret I have is not getting the 40 psi boost gauge instead of going with the 60 psi gauge.

I'm happy with my Performax gauges. I have Boost, EGT, Rail Pressure, and Fuel Pressure.

They match very good in day. The backlighting could be a better match but it isn't bad.

Overall, I am very happy with the gauges. The recall feature alone is a good reason to pick them over other gauges.

I've got a set. Recall feature is nice to have. The install is pretty slick. The lighting/dimming is kind of spotty. They only dim a little then they cut out completely. They match the factory gauges real well for looks.

I want 7 but don't want 7 round gauges to look at, I'll never look @ the road!

Note that you can get the pointer from the EV2 series gauges on the Performax line so your pointers will match the factory pointer.

I called a performance Diesel shop and they said the performax were a pain to install. They recommended the EV2 with the digital rail pressure and fuel pressure combo because of sending unit problems with the regular gauges

I found them a breeze to install?
Since the performax only require three wires into the cab for up to 17 gauges and you can simply unplug and plug in any gauge you want, it makes life real simple IMO.
For me the toughest part of the install was figuring out where I wanted to mount the ecm.

I have the Performax and I like them. I had two problems and they got them fixed for me really fast.

1. I had a sensor go bad and they sent me a new one very quick.
2. The gauges kept going into recall mode on startup and they sent me a new control module.

I thought that the install was pretty easy. If you have a problem they are quick to get it taken care of. Top notch quality, top notch customer care. A lot of companies could take notes from these guys when it comes to taking care of their customers.

a few of us on here are using glowshift gauges, got mine off ebay. they work great so far and have pretty good customer service, and are really cheap. I got my pyro(1600), trans temp, and boost 60lbs for 172 with a gauge pod. the pod was not so great so i purchased a autometer pod after
