Is my trans about to go?
Alright,
Ive been in the hunt and needing a trans for a while now and I know I have a bunch of miles w/ power adders on my stocky 116k miles. So ya theres a good sign!
...but!!
Today at lunch had been slightly hammering around and having some fun, nothing too serious, but when I pulled up to a light..it seemed that when I had my foot on the break the truck was still pulling. From what I thought, its seemed like my TC was still locked up as my turbo was slightly whistleing at idel and It was acting like my truck was going to stall.....but when I put it in neutral, it went away!!
So, Im thinking by now my TC is totally worn and Im about to do some trans damage!! I want to know what yall think, cause if its about to blow, I have my $$ saved up to call Dave Goerend today!! I am just wanting to hold off as long as I can to make it easier on the family to purchase such a thing!
