I have 4 dipricol gauges that I bought from tst, now optix gauges, I have had good luck with these and have ran a few of them for a while now. Ive seen the isspro gauges be poor quality.

This may be a stupid question but I always thought a pyrometer was the EGT guage - yet reading on here, I don't find the term used interchangabley. What is the difference between a pyrometer and EGT guage?

The majority of the time I run it in performance, if you stay of the go petal it really increased my fuel economy. I ran it one time in extreme for my youngest brother because he wanted one when the finish the 06 programming. I tell you that the baby got it, did some launches and had no problem melting away a new set of Nitto Grapplers. I took the program out after two launches because it will smoke the tranny or the components pre or post. I did make a bet that I could pull his trailer with a D-6 on the back up a 40-42 grade and hit the end at over 80mph, plus it smoked the tires until that trailer started moving from a dead stop.
Results: happy camper! and everyone that uses it will be impressed for the performance to dollar ratio. My box was a lot more and a lot less performance in my opinion.

Not ragging on you, but i cant imagine what those egts were at 80 from a dead stop pulling a D6. I hope you have gauges or dont plan on keeping that truck forever.

I would have never put a tuner on without gauges in the first place, and yes once the EGT was above my liking I did feather the throttle( the truck had way more in it) . And as far as keeping the truck, the answer is yes because it was paid in full when I drove off the lot. My motto you can not take it with you so enjoy it while you can! And if it breaks, Not to be rude, but if it breaks I will write it off and go get another!

the diablo stack is really sweet but with a stock clutch it will slip pretty hard but it nice to let the performance puck setting on then flip the switch on the power puck to suck the paint of the local duramaxes

I have had it now for about 5 days and absolutly love it still. It has help my gas mileage a lot. Everytime I hit the highway the gas mileage goes up where as before it would but not this much. I filled up the other morning and drove 10 miles in town and then hit the highway and did aobut 90 miles on the highway with about 10-15 miles in the city and by the time I got to my town I was getting 26MPG.

Guys, you have to remember that the Predator will throw off your overhead mpg readings.

Does the predator store your stock flash or does it have its own program for returning to stock?
