Yes! MP-8 will had a couple thousand on your rail pressure adding extra HP. And since its adjustable on the fly turn it on kill when you want to smoke someone on the street. To answer your question youll notice a nice SOTP increase.

I was wondering the same thing about the mp8 and I also have the tst/smarty(tnt). I only run the smarty (and love it) and leave the tst on 0 because ive read that it can be a deadly stack for your motor, any truth to that? Maybe we would be better of with smarty/mp8 only.

The #'s in my sig was with Smarty TNT on SW#7, TM 4, Timing 2, RP 3 and wastegate off and the TST R49 on 2/0 standard program! Ive been running the TST with the Smarty for sometime now and havent had one issue, i think as long as u dont get to crazy with the TST u should be fine. Lots of settings so just be careful! I try to write down what settings i try that way i know what works!

Oh the #'s were with stock turbo, stock sticks, stock Cp3.

Just watch your rail pressure. If you don't have a RP guage, I would not do it. Too much RP can be really bad.

The deadly part is the timing... the MP-8 does not add timing.

I have an MP8, and love it!!!

I run one or the other, meaning i either use the Smarty for timing or the TST, but never both at the same time.
So if i unplug the rail pres of the TST i should be able to use the MP8 for added pres right?

Has anyone had problems with there MP 8 working properly? I know this is just a plug in type box but i heard it does not always work and some have had to send theirs back, any truth to that.

I run the power puck with my smarty /TST stack and have the TST plugged into the puck inline-- actually, TST first, then puck; that way I get accurate rail pressure reading.

I do not have any experience with the TST... you should be able to leave it in, just adjust it off the RP guage. As long as you don't turn it up over 26.5k, you should be jammin... Like I said, I don't have any experience with the TST, so I could be wrong...

Yes... common problem is people turning the connectors the wrong way, I think it's the MAP that looks the same either way, and connections not being seated right. It sounds like a cammed out gas motor. (ask me how I know? )

Another problem that I had was the wires coming apart at the connector, and I just re-spliced them.

Call TS performance if you have a problem... they had great customer svc when I used them.

You want the MP-8 plugged into the MAP sensor before the TST. The MP-8 does some tricky MAP value fooling that gets your TST (and ECM) to think that there's more boost than actually there at low boost readings. It will make your TST fuel sooner since the TST fueling is boost-dependent. It smoothes out the hit from the TST big time. It will also cap max boost readings, so you don't have overboost codes.

For the rail sensor you'd want the TST plugged in first for accurate readings, then the MP-8.

The MP-8 is the best pressure box. I tried them all in my '03.
