Not necessarily. The TST lets the ECM think it's running normally. Perhaps if they're smart enough to look for max boost readings.... Maybe.

The boost setting was at 37 psi and the box was only turned up halfway power level 4 out 9 settings and torque was at 6 out of 9. I wasn't getting any response at lower settings. Pyro didn't get hot maybe 1200 and i was on it but a couple seconds. just long enought for the automatic trans to hook up. Then total power loss. Called dealer their coming to get it monday and they said if anything is on it have it off plus they had just changed the oil in it at the dealer that morning. My 02 took a hell of a lot of abuse, and yes it ate lift pumps and one injection pump until i put a pusher pump on it, but so did our farm bone stock o1 until they put the pump in the tank on it.

My high boost is set at 35 but still spikes to 39 then settles on 35 so you could have been in the mid 40's. TST directions recomends 35 setting for stock turbo, did you notice if the lights were flashing under the boost reading to indicate defueling? I would send it back to TST and have them test it before putting back on truck.

Let us know how it comes out, good luck, hopefully the ******* fixes it.

I know that bombing and warranty work don't go hand in hand, but the ******* makes enough money anyway, and their service (to me at least) is nothing to write home about....

So screw 'em

Well I just thought the factory turbo could handle that boost, beause my last truck mach edm2s and edge ez would hit 43-45 psi at times and took it well the trucks pyro would just get hot. Let alone break turbo shaft in first fifteen minutes.
