might have popped off a tubing connection, boost can blow one off fairly easy. Check the flexible boots at the intercooler connections. Also check if by chance you got one of the plastic intercooler endcap models, you shouldn't but check. if you wer on the throttel hard and then dropped the pedle you could have barked/ broke the turbo shaft but thats an extreme and remote chance. If it was a boost boot a little hairspray will make it sticky and less **** to blowing off again. good luck and post back reasults

Maybe you blew a hose off the turbo or intercooler.

Ahhh, Mike beat me to it.

Sound like a turbo to me. Pull the intake hose and look for damage, shavings, or shaft play. Don't run the truck until you find the problem. If it starts pulling oil into the intake you have a chance at a runaway.

That sounds like your turbo is done. I've heard too many stories of turning up the power on a TST w' stock turbo and then KAAABLOOOOWYYY. Hope everything else is ok.

why don't you let the truck get some break in miles before beat the sh*t out of it. try that for your new turbo, and things will last longer. they need proper break in.
i think you will either need to get the betteror larger turbo, or not use the TST box to it full , until you get the mods that you will need to run it. i hope you have gauges in there too.

i have 11000 miles on it and i'm a farmer that uses the hell out my trucks so she was broke in, and i only had it turned half way up. i played with it on lower settings and didn't really get anything out of it.

Didnt want to be the devils advocate here, but this is a good example of not doing research and just putting the most powerful things in a truck and hammering the go pedal. Sorry for what happened

Sounds like a possible Turbo to me also. But the ECM is going to rat you out to the dealership and to Starline which will have to be called to get a turbo warrantied. GOOD LUCK!
