Max rail pressure?

My new Quad Rail Pressure guage should be here this week. I've been around here a long time but I can't remember what the max pressure is that I want to see before getting worried.
Who knows?????

from what I understand, the rail can handle up to 30K psi. The optimal running psi is around 24 to 25K psi.

If you see more than 30K and you didn't do it yourself, you'll want to find out why quick.

Pretty sure that the rail releif valve pops at 28,000. I know the pressure at which the rail pressure sensor will set a high pressure code at or near 27,000 psi.

I read a while back that the relief DOES indeed pop off somewhere close to 28,000, But that is just what i read.

I have blown my RV but not sure at what pressure. Hopeully yours will blow too before an injector cracks. My truck sees 25k dialy but I think I am gonna change the programmin to try and drop it down. My rail guage goes to 27k more than I would like too.

I assume you know that anything over 27.5k is all a guess cause that is as high as the factory sensor will read.

I agree with all of the above. And on stock injectors to be safe 24.5K is where I would try to limit it. I try to keep mine at a max of 25K or less even with my Flux injectors. But I tend to stay a little on the safe side.
