intake horn?
intake horn?
Im ready to put an intake horn on my truck and i dont know which to get. As of now I have an s&b air intake and an edge juice with attitude. I want to put an intake horn and someday paln to put a new turbo. I am debating between a bladerunner and a cfm intake horn. What do yall think? Also what is the max boost I should run? thanks for any info
Left Coast Diesel has a shootout on their website with dyno results of several horns... check it out and decide for yourself. Compare costs too and make a value judgment for what you want to do.
I'm running an AFE Bladerunner which is about a eight out of ten on the efficiency scale. Initially,I could feel the difference, but it's not the seat of the pants feeling you get from a box or programmer. Emissions are coming to Ca so mine will have to come off unless AFE gets a CARB for it. I don't think I'd put it back on after this. I'd look at a Smarty for a true improvement over stock.
I just got my renewal notice for my '03. There is no smog required (just $430 bucks).
