The ProStreet 66 and the SilverBullet 66 are about the same turbo. Different companies with BorgWarner wheels and such inside. The HTT is alittle cheaper to buy than the II.

Yeah, I'm still kinda on the fence about the turbo because I want good power, but I don't want it to hurt me towing?

I thought the prostreet was more like the SPS. Doesnt the prostreet only have a 71mm turbine?

FWIW, I would go ahead and spend the extra money (150ish) and get a 2mk filter to run on there. It would be cheap insurance.

There are three people in my area that run the ProStreet 66 and all of them tow every so often. 2 of them are Auto's and 1 stick. They are loving the turbo and feel they can pull whatever they feel like. I know my friend pulls a 32ft toy hauler with his and doesn't seem to mind it.

I have designed everything that I have done to my truck around towing. I hope to retire by the time I am 50 and I want to retire travelling with my truck and my 5er. So I have been very paticular as to what I have put on,, and yet I have awesome hp,, very quick and just a hoot to drive.

Here is some info on the couple of turbo's

Aurora 2000 - S300G
Aurora 5000 - K31
Phat Shaft - S300 based 64mm pinwheel
Super Phat Shaft 62 is 10 blade 71mm
Silver Bullet - S300 based 71mm pinwheel
HTB2 - S300 based 64mm pinwheel
Pro Street 66 - S300 based 71mm pinwheel
BD Super B - S300G
BD Super B Special - S300 based 64mm pinwheel

The older Phat Shaft and HTB2 turbos have an 11 blade 64mm exhaust pinwheel, hence the surging issues when coupled with a 64 or 66mm compressor wheel. The newer Silver Bullet and Pro Street 66 turbos have a 10 blade 71mm exhaust pinwheel, hence the loss of surging issues. A stock S300G has a 57mm compressor wheel and an 11 blade 64mm exhaust pinwheel. Both the Silver Bullet and the Pro Street 66 do run a 66mm compressor wheel, the difference between these and the older Phat Shaft 66 and Sled Puller 66 is the exhaust pinwheel.

How did you get the ATS info? They don't give you squat over the phone. I wasn't smart enough to inspect mine before I installed it, just wanted to hurry and get it on. Any info on the 3000. It might be an inbetween solution for what he is looking for.

I will have to see what I can dig up. I think the if I remeber it is based off the S300 but is like a 62/14. The 4000 is like a 64/14. I will make sure them are right. I know what you mean BD and ATS don't give any info out. The only thing they give out is the A5k.

If you go over to the TDR site and do a search for injector removal or injector install, somewhere there is a great thread with step by step instructions with pictures.
