Question Help with backspacing and offset of new wheels!

I'm converting my 06 dually to a srw, gonna raise the front 2.5-3", put a bumper on it. It's a 2wd. I wanted to see where I could get a new control arm for it. But my bigger question is this....Backspacing and offset of new wheels. I'm looking at the Eagle Alloys...series 100 black, they are...17x9, 8 on 6.5, offset of -8mm, backspacing of 4.625. How would these look, or stick out or not stick out. I'm looking for somewhat close to stock, if its out a little not a big deal, but not any closer in than stock. I have no idea what I'm looking for, or how these would work or look. I really like the looks of them a ton

I bought some wheels for an 01, the offset was 0, come to learn, thats not stock lol. It sticks out maybe 2" I don't want it sticking out that much. Any help and suggestions on the wheels, and even the swap and raising the front, please write it all. Pics of wheels would be awesome too. Thank you guys!

The stock backspacing is like 6"+ IIRC, and a very high positive offset. A negative offset means they will be sticking out that much MORE than a zero offset. They are probably going to be about 2" out. The offset is the distance from the mounting plane to the center of the wheel, the backspacing is the distance from the inside lip of the wheel to the mounting surface.

Here is a diagram that should help:

I would guess they'd stick out 1.5" or so more than stock.

I've now seen +20, and +30 offset. The +30 are the KMC XD Hoss, 18" wheels, really like them a lot.

So maybe 20 would be an inch, and 30 be half an inch more than stock?
