Heater grid delete?

What are the pros and cons ?

Positive = 1/2 PSI of boost (maybe)
Negative = no intake heater
You probably won't feel it either way.

Good advice, I pulled my grids out because I live in southern Texas where we will see a couple of days below 20 degrees.

I live in Utah where it can get real cold for awile so probably not a good idea. Thanks for the info if anyone else has somthing to say let me know

You for sure won't feel a seat of the pants difference at all. I have one on my truck and I would do it again.

Pro:
Less draw on the batteries in the winter
No annoying light dimming in the winter
Slightly improved airflow
slightly less clutter inside engine bay (if you remove wiring and solenoid)

Con:
on cold mornings it will run rough and white smoke briefly (~10 seconds on a 20 degree morning with no block heater)

on your 06 the truck will start at 20 below zero without the heater i know. when that cold snap came through i got up and it was -27* i waited untill it was -15* and started the truck. as stated you are not going to see a lot of difference.
