H2 Rims

This is a photo of another members truck. As you can see by my sig. I have the same truck. Do these h2 rims bolt right up or do you need to do some mods? I am only going to put on 295/285 So rubbing should not be an issue. I was just wondering about the backspacing and other issues.

you have to mill out the centers a little bit.

mill them out to 4.774, and add a hair for powder coating! Look for Hookie's thread on here about it, has all the info! FYI I have one single H2 wheel for sale that I will make you a deal on if you want in the classified section!

The member with the info is Hoot.

That's my truck and yes you have to do some work to make them fit. I think there is a set of 5 in the classifieds that are already opened up and ready to bolt on... They don't rub, even without a lift up front....

Look here https://www.dieseltruckresource.com/...&cat=10&page=2

What are you getting for fuel mileage with these tires and rims?

I don't have them anymore. I now have PowerWagon rims with 285s on them. I liked the 315s but they will rob you of some HP and I needed more not less. The advantage over stock rims is that the H2s are a bit wider and have less backspacing. 315s on stock rims will rub at full lock while H2s won't. They are different too and that's why most guys do it. Not to mention that they can be had on e-bay for cheap....
I was getting 15 city and around 22 hwy with them. City mileage will drop with 315s versus stock tires..

thanks for the heads-up... I think that if I was going aftermarket I would get something like 20's with BFG At's but I guess that is more $$$ huh... oh well I think the stock rims look nice now just for bigger tires. Anyone running MTR's 305?

I just wish i could find someone that would make a center cap that says Cummins, the center caps look really good on them.

The ones I had were totally chromed and they were sweet! Lots of guys just run the silver ones but I prefer the chromes......
You can't reuse the H2 caps on the rear because the hub sticks out too far.
