Chrome rims vs PVD chrome rims
Anyone out there running aftermarket PVD chrome rims on there trucks or cars??
I didn't know there was two types of chrome finish..The old school chrome plating and this PVD chrome sprayed rims over aluminum...The PVD chrome sounds like power coat chrome and claim to last better than aluminum rims that are chrome plated..
About 5 to 10% less shine than plated chrome..What I have read
Anyone running these type of aluminuim rims with the PVD coating??? Are they holding out as claimed?? Curious how salt affects PVD rims..
