Gauge install questions

I'm getting ready to buy gauges for my 03. Im going with Autometers, and I am going to get an electric fuel pressure. I plan to remote mount the sensor so the engine doesnt beat it to death, Autometer sells a pressure snubber that they say should be used on the older 24v for avoid pressure spikes, would it be wise of me to install this on my 03 also? I am also thinking about putting a small mechanical gauge in the line for sensor, would this be a good idea also?

I would mount the sensor on the CP3 feedline, and if pressure spikes I would want to see it. You always want to see the pressure going in the the CP3, anything else will be somwhat distorted.
