Boost gauge install questions

So I've got my boost gauge ordered from dpp and should be here tomorrow or saturday. Do I need to buy anything else for the installation? I've read that people have connected it to the block behined the fuel filter. Is there any special bushings or fittings I need to purchase before it gets here?

Thanks
Dave

Yes, you have to get a 3/4" bushing to whatever size your boost gauge fitting is. You can get them at Home Depot or Lowes. Might take a couple of different fittings to get it to work. I think most boost gauge fitting are 1/4 npt?

Somthing like this to go into the block, then reduce down to a compression fitting.

I was going from memory, but hopefully it will give you some idea of what has to happen to make it work.
