boost gauge install and no boost

Well I finally got around to installing my boost gauge and all went very well... I driller and tapped the intake horn and ran some tubing threw a gromet in firewall.. and tightened everything back up.. and starrt truck adn no boost how did I bugger this up HELP PLEASE. this is annoying

so you took it on a test drive and the gauge does not move at all??
is the line kinked??

you have to put the engine under a load to show boost.. take for a test drive and it will show boost.

i once got a bad boost gauge from autometer. it wouldnt show boost after i installed it either, i had to send it back for another one

You won't see boost at idle or even revving it for that matter. Drive it and press the go pedal hard. You will see boost.

Unless it's a bad gauge of course.

checked the line, pulled it off the gauge and sucked on back of gauge and right up to 30 psi sucked on the line to intake and free as a bird. I'm confiused
