What mods do you have on your truck?? Fill out your sig please

I would start with Lift pump pressure and then get a rail gauge once you start adding box's and big sticks....

I agree you need both. They are two different fuel delivery systems and with high hp mods it is a good idea to know how both are doing. I have Autometer electric fuel pressure gauge and the diprocol rail pressure gauge.

The DiProcol Optix Rail Pressure gauge plugs into the rail pressure sensor like the EZ does. It reads directly from the sensor.

Rail Pressure guage will tell you if the cp3 is able to keep constant rail pressure based on the demand and how high that demand is. Unless you get to a high hp mod level probably not really necessary. It is a big help in tuning high hp stacked trucks.

Pardon me for jumping in here, but I've been thinking about a fuel pressure gauge also. I don't plan on doing much in the way of mods, mostly want to keep it stock except for the AFE for now. What I do is tow a heavy (17k) fiver all over the western USA. Would a lift pump gauge be beneficial for me? Do I need a rail gauge if I don't do any more mods?

Thanks...
Steve

yes I think lift pump gauge would be beneficial..but if your not bombing your truck I don't think you would need a rail gauge.
plus a fuel pressure gauge is ALWAYS!! good for diagnosis

Might be a little late but, if you get a Commander it will not cost much more than a Dipricol Rail Gauge and a fuel pressure gauge. The Commander will read both plus coolant, EGT, boost and transmission. On top of that it will hook up to the Dr P module and allow you to automatically de-fuel on egt, boost, tranny, rail or fuel pressure plus you can do away with the toggle switch to change power levels?

Like I said I know you already have a couple of gauges but, you might get decent money back from them?
