Yep, much smoother and you will notice it immediately. Most of the upgrades we do for performance cause internal engine vibrations and obviously over time this will cause premature wear and possibly failure. It is a good investment if you've got some performance mods.

Smoother overall operation. Its a must for manuals that run a dual disc.

Fluiddamper sourcing

I checked all around including buying direct from Fluiddamper and at the time Summit Racing had the best price I could find. Give 'em a call. It's a moving target so what was the price may not be the price. It may be better.

So if I notice a slight vibration in the steering wheel while idling, this may help? I know this is a diesel, but a smoother idle would be nice. $400 is a lot if it isn't going to help though.

Why would it be a must for one with a dual disk clutch? The dual disk clutch adds weight to the crank, which should help dampen spikes and vibrations a little more.

Yes but it also has "free floating" parts...which add vibration. Also, the solid hubs don't help in the vibration department, either!

It cut my tranny vibes by about 75%. Those vibes were caused by the dual disc.
